I see you. When someone says this with deep empathetic sincerity it’s like your entire nervous system exhales doesn’t it? It certainly does for me. AND yet we all too often lump external validation and existential validation in the one
I saw a Willy wagtail this morning and it made me think about how we often don’t realise how much we miss things until we experience them again. ((Yep I miss seeing Willy Wagtails and their gorgeous swaying butts everywhere like in Victoria))
I was initially going to try and be all sunshine & rainbows and just say existential awakening but let’s be real — in the eye of the storm it doesn’t feel quite so light and pretty. And yet.. I (we!) continue to welcome these
